As this article from the Delaware County Daily Times suggests Republicans in Delaware County PA don't go to jail. Bryan Lentz (D) our 2010 candidate raised this issue, a fall guy was chosen and the PA -office of Legal homicide- Attorney general's office has declared the case closed. (Sorry, my Quaker anti-death penalty bias shows) This isn't going to be a very long diary.
P.S. OT but my friend the shutterbug from the Sestak campaign (who never warned me before immortalizing my bad hairdays on facebook) has pictures on his facebook page of Sestak volunteers getting together with some of the siblings for luncheon in March and two people have asked me this week what the former Congressman is doing. Your guess is as good as mine, but I think he's keeping the door open for something. I'll put 99% odds on at least one of either Joe Sestak or Bryan Lentz being seriously asked to run against Pat Meehan (R-Delco Machine). Not sure what the new district will look like, but a fellow Episcopalian claims they have to keep Upper darby in the district. He's wrong; they only have keep Pat Meehan's part of Upper Darby in the district. Precincts in Phoenixville are currently split between PA6 and PA 7. The Gerrymanderers have split up municipalities before. If you want supporting evidence google Frosh State Rep. Margo Davidson and the 164th PA State House district (spoiler: she's an African American Democrat, the kind of diverse electorate that the Republican machine doesn't want in Meehan's district. In PA as long as racial gerrymandering isn't intentional it isn't illegal.)
