Spending Cuts.
Paul Ryan (and much of the GOP Tea Party) warn we MUST HAVE ever-greater Spending Cuts if America is to avoid a dire future ...
GOP Rep. Paul Ryan roils DC with controversial Medicare-slashing budget, would repeal Obamacare by Aliyah Shahid, Daily News Staff Writer -- 04/05/2011
Republicans say that without spending cuts, America faces a dire, fiscally insolvent future.
Be afraid, be very afraid. According to the the "Slash and Burn" Republicans, America is perpetually headed towards that proverbial cliff ...
We MUST Cut Spending, ever more -- or face fiscal oblivion ... or so those supply-side Warnings go.
If you are NOT an Engine of the Economy, you are its Fuel ...
Funny how they never want to 'Cut Spending' for Defense though -- even though, most Americans already know, THAT is where the real Spending problem is.
Public prefers cutting defense spending: Reuters/Ipsos poll
by Donna Smith, Reuters -- Mar 9, 2011
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A majority of Americans prefer cutting defense spending to reduce the federal deficit rather than taking money from public retirement and health programs, a Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Wednesday showed.

Lawmakers are more focused on cutting so-called discretionary spending, but some experts say Congress will eventually need to cut entitlements to make a major dent in the country's $1.6 trillion deficit and $14 trillion debt.
I guess those "Experts" never heard about "Raising Revenues" to pay for stuff?
(You know, actually PAY for all those Wars, as you Go.)
Hmmmm, if we keep cutting the $14,000,000,000,000 National Debt
by about roughly an annual $38,000,000,000 like they're trying now
THEN, America should be "Out of Debt" again, in about 368 YEARS!
I wonder if they will call that the National Debt "Installment Re-payment Plan"?
Spending Cuts. Discretionary Spending Cuts. Entitlement Spending Cuts.
Keep this up and America might be solvent in about in 300-400 years. Give or Take.
But whatever else happens, DON'T EVER think about raising Taxes on the Wealthy. Don't raise those Corporate Taxes either.
Otherwise HOW in the world can the GOP ever Prove their Party Mantra,
that MORE Tax Cuts WILL Create MORE Jobs ?
To those Faux Austerity Hawks, It's a done deal. As long as we keep Cutting Spending in ever more "Non-Essential" areas -- say cut at the rate of about $38 Billion a year.
Without Raising Revenues. Without touching Defense.
Just do the Math -- you'll see ... it will only take us a measly 368 years, at this rate, to get us Back in the Black ink. So the Revenue Renegades say.
Piece of Cake. Just ask Paul Ryan -- How Much he thinks, WE MUST Cut the Spending that's destined for Ordinary People ...
It's dire, he says. Dire. Pony up, People.
The GOP Tax-Phobes -- MUST be paid!
Pay them now; or Pay them later. Much, much later ... Maybe your Great-Grand-kids can pay them, at the rate they're going, eh?
[Shhh! don't say "Taxes" ... it's a secret.]
