One of my my students showed me a field trip permission slip and asked me if I was going. I read the prospectus over rather quickly. I said I'd never heard of a haunted house open in the spring. The girl told me it wasn't a haunted house. I read it again. “You’ve been to a haunted house, but you’ve never been to Hell.” Something didn't smell right. I tried googling at school and got the Sonic Wall. I tried again at home and discovered my instincts were right on.
Final Exit according to Christian Film News
. . . is sharing the Gospel in a real, revenant [sic] way for the MTV crowd. We want people to see that if you make the wrong choices, this is what can happen.”
In the last 4 cities, over 4,000 people gave their life to the Lord, 20 abortions have been canceled and over 15 suicides have been prevented.

Okay, I teach in a public high school which won't let me take my students to Science City (for budgetary reasons), but they are taking students on a school sponsored, tax payer supported field trip to be evangelized by Pentacostals.
You see, folks, why we need teacher tenure? Even as things are now, I would not dare to complain to administration using my name. I am going to get in touch with the ACLU and Americans United for Separation of Church and State, even if I have to do it anonymously.
I have to do something. I support the district I teach in to the tune of $1500 a year in property taxes and I don't even have a science budget. I can't take my students on a field trip.
But they can spend my money to take kids to a holy roller come to Jesus meeting.
