This will be brief and some will say why diary "Fox lies", it's what they do 24/7, without apology, everyone here knows that. And outsiders, Foxers and Teahadists will say heh, everybody makes mistakes, they just got some numbers wrong. To the latter, I say bullshit.
Here's what the "reporter" said about the vote on todays Ryan wealthfare bill: "It was a party line vote. All the Republicans except four voted for it and all the LIBERALS except three voted against it". Then he added, so, four, three, about the same on both sides. Hold on. I read here and in the New York Times that not one Democrat voted for Ryan's monstrosity? Am I wrong, is our front page wrong, is the New York Times wrong? New York Times headline: "House Passes GOP Budget: No Democrats Vote In Favor".
And, almost as bad as their outright lie, they committed a sin of omission as well. They did not mention the fact that this passage is DOA in the Senate leaving their low information voters with the impression this is now the law of the land.
Again, I'm aware this misinformation is SOP for FOX but they need to be called out. Yes, in their overall scheme of lies, distortions and half-truths, this is a small one but I don't think it should get a pass.
