Today in DC, thousands of climate activists are taking a stand against the dirty polluters who are destroying the only known planet in the universe that can sustain life.

They're demanding that the President and Congress stand up to Big Polluters, protect the Clean Air Act, and make corporate polluters like BP pay for their pollution.
Rally participants will then move on to protest at the US Chamber of Commerce
Those who have been paying attention realize that the Chamber is the biggest obstacle to progress on reducing pollution and greenhouse gas emission in this country.
The rally is the culmination of Power Shift 2011, a youth clean energy conference and one of the largest grassroots trainings in history. Over 10,000 young people from all 50 states attended the event over the weekend. Keynote speakers included Lisa Jackson, Al Gore, Bill McKibben, Van Jones, Phaedra Ellis-Lamkins, Mary Anne-Hitt, and others.
A scan of WaPo returns zero stories about the demonstration in their town, even on the local news page.

Methinks had even 1/4 as many Tea Partiers been out there you would have a large front page story about them. Once again, we see clear evidence of who the Corporate Media cares about, and about whom they give zero shits.
