With the GOP controlling both the House and the Senate in Missouri, but thankfully Governor Jay Nixon (D) can veto the maps if he so chooses to. And both of the GOP-drawn maps have divvied up Democratic-leaning (but trending increasingly Republican) Jefferson County into three districts, takes Cleaver's district into Saline, Ray, and Lafayette counties, keeps St. Charles County in 2 districts, and puts STL City in one district. The Democratic map by Ron Casey is not all that much better, but it at least keeps Jefferson in one seat, St. Charles County is now in 1 district (which is the outer edge STL Seat), puts Jeff City/Columbia/Fulton into one seat, and a bloody primary between Hartzler and Luetkemeyer. So I have a better solution.
Missouri has to lose a district, so someone is out of luck.
