Today, an important poll was released that proves America is totally against Paul Ryan’s Reverse Robin-hood plan that steals Medicare from the poor to buy new yachts for the rich. Many prognosticators mused that he didn’t have the nerves to craft a plan that throws poor seniors out of nursing homes to save Warren Buffett a few hundred thousand dollars. But you know what? He did just that.
Folk's, let me say this as emphatically as I can: Paul Ryan is no freakin' hero and he certainly "ain't" that bright. He's just another shyster in a long line of slick neocons who have raped and pillaged the middle-class for the past decade.
Perhaps, Ryan’s Reverse Robin-hood plan might finally get the attention it’s been sorely lacking from the bogus tea party:
“The Tea Party movement is supposed to be the engine driving Republicans' push for sharp cuts to spending and reform entitlements. Representative Paul Ryan's 2012 budget, which passed the House last week, phases out Medicare for people under 55 and turns Medicaid into block grants. But it turns out that Tea Partiers, like most Americans, strongly oppose cutting Medicare and Medicaid. A new McClatchy-Maris pol shows 70 percent of "Tea Party supporters" oppose cutting those programs--and 80 percent of registered voters agree.”

The good news is that all but four republicans assisted Paul Ryan as he robbed the poor to give to the rich with their vote last week. Consequently, they are on the record of asking 33 seniors to give $6,000 each to help Brett Farve buy some other something. He could probably use another lawyer to help him beat his sexual harassment suit. This excerpt shows what a grave mistake they made:
“So though The New Republic's Jonathan Chait has argued that "the Ryan budget represents the victory of the Tea Party mentality over mainstream conservatism within the Republican Party," it looks like Ryan's plan doesn't represent the activists, either. Slate's Dave Weigel calls the Marist poll a "nice present" for Democrats, and "pretty ugly numbers" for Republicans. He adds: "If Democrats can keep portraying the cuts as worse than they are--this was done successfully in the 2005 Social Security fight--there's a win here."
For another articulation of this view, recall that even when House Republicans passed Ryan's budget Friday, NBC News' Mark Murray marveled at their political gambit: "Either the normal rules of American politics have changed, or Republicans have walked into an electoral buzz saw--on a Medicare plan that won't pass the 112th Congress and that many of them didn't campaign on in 2010." http://nationaljournal.com/...
So today, I remain committed to doing my part to call, write and post countless comments about Ryan’s Reverse Robin-hood plan. It is shameful that any legislator would literally steal the future health security of all Americans to reward the richest of the rich with yet another golden parachute.
Say it loud, say it often: This Paul Ryan Reverse Robin-hood plan is absolutely Shameful!!
