Move On's Tax Day protest at Kansas City was held on what used to be Volker Park, right across from the CH41 NBC affiliate. A LOT of our chanting had to do with GE and their failure to pay their fair share in taxes.
Now Kansas City is not very much of a hot bed of protesting. We have our greens, our anti-war protesters, etc. But I was very pleased that we had a little over 50 people.
And we did get noticed by the Channel 41 people, one of whom brought his camera over to talk and take pictures. I got the feeling he was sympathetic to our cause.
And my apologies to him, I do not watch TV so I do not know his name };-(.
