Who the hell knows what Newt Of-Three-Wives Gingrich was talking about when he went off on another bizarre tirade against secularism this week. But that's often wingnut code for science, and given Newt's chosen profession of right-wing grifter, I'd like to think one of his targets was arguably the findings of Nazi atheist Muslim climate scientists like these Godless socialist meddlers:
[We urge] "all nations to develop and implement, without delay, effective and fair policies to reduce the causes and impacts of climate change on communities and ecosystems, including mountain glaciers and their watersheds, aware that we all live in the same home.”
Now for fun,

resemblling a
just world, Newtie might be hampered by his most recent dodge to avoid responsability for his serial hypocrisy.
- Pure speculation, but this looks like a company that is considering filing for an Initial Public Offering in the next year or two:
SpaceX has named Bret Johnsen as Chief Financial Officer, bringing 20 years of financial leadership experience in high-profile, publicly traded companies to SpaceX as it undergoes rapid growth on the back of tremendous technological and market success.
- BoingBoing has posted two beautiful videos of rarely seen octopus: the Dumbo and the Orange, and both are well worth the look.
- My friend Ed Brayton linked this material, and thanks to him I can now quote it without providing any traffic to the idiot that wrote it. And that's a good thing, as you'll see below, because Words. Fail. Me.
I tend to find sluts fairly likeable, for the most part, especially those who are sluts because they enjoy riding the alpha carousel as opposed to those who are merely ideologically slutty due to their incoherent feminism. And yet, I don't shed any more tears over a slut getting raped than I do over a gambler winding up broke. It's not inevitable, but the odds are what they are.
