As reported by Andy Kelly at the Prop 8 Trial Tracker:
Success! Today Senator Tom Udall of New Mexico announced he would support the repeal of DOMA! And we couldn't have done it without you.
More than 1,000 Courage Campaign members joined with Progress Now New Mexico and the Democracy for New Mexico blog to petition Senator Udall to co-sponsor the repeal of DOMA. Local community activists Noreen Richards and Bernadette Koh joined Cleve Jones to deliver the signatures to the senator's staff in Albuquerque.
Then our activists in New Mexico posted more than 90 comments on Sen. Udall's Facebook wall, urging him to co-sponsor that legislation. In his announcement, Sen. Udall called the repeal of DOMA "fair and in accordance with the Constitution and I'm proud to co-sponsor it."

As did many others getting Senator Kohl to come out in support of repeal last month.
If this keeps up They may thinks it's a movement.
You know, if one person, just one person does it they may think he's really sick and they won't take him. And if two people, two people do it, in harmony, they may think they're both faggots and they won't take either of them. And three people do it, three, can you imagine, three people walking in singin a bar of Alice's Restaurant and walking out. They may think it's an organization. And can you, can you imagine fifty people a day,I said fifty people a day walking in singin a bar of Alice's Restaurant and walking out. And friends they may thinks it's a movement.
That brings to a total of twenty-four the sponsors and co-sponsors of S.598, the Respect for Marriage Act which repeals DOMA. And it's not happening because of pressure from anywhere but the grassroots.
We're still waiting on the other Senator from New Mexico, Senator Bingaman. Will the other shoe drop before the week is out?
