From HP:
Rick Santorum: "Everything I've read shows that we would not have gotten this information as to who this man was if it had not been gotten information from people who were subject to enhanced interrogation," Santorum said. "And so this idea that we didn't ask that question while Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was being waterboarded, he (McCain) doesn't understand how enhanced interrogation works.
Rick Santorum entered politics four short years after passing the bar. Four years of real-world work, where he spent most of his time defending the World Wrestling Federation by supporting steroid use. Sorry. That's not really the real world.
"I mean, you break somebody, and after they're broken, they become cooperative. And that's when we got this information. And one thing led to another, and led to another, and that's how we ended up with bin Laden," said Santorum.
There are few things in this world I have as little tolerance for than a self-righteous know-it-all who has neither the experience nor intellect to back up any of the bullshit that explodes from his mouth. Santorum is pansy-ass. While I've never been a big fan of McCain, I do respect him on this one issue.
Santorum and his slim shoulders would give away the farm if he had to endure even a modicum of the kind of torture McCain had. Instead, he's lead a comfortable, leather-couched life in law offices and political clubs. How dare this asshole make absolute statements about things he has absolutely no knowledge or experience with.
Then again, he's a republican. That's all they know how to do. The real torture is having to listen to spoiled little sanctimonious pricks like this guy tell all of us how to live our lives and what facts REALLY mean.
