Update 4:07pm TV news is repeating itself-I think the 4:15 pm warning for the area near Lindstrom will expire. This storm has pulled a lot of the energy out of the atmosphere-the Twin Cities metro area is no longer under any watch or warning.
Time to get my shopping list together.
Update 3:57pm Looks like Minnesota is almost in the clear, but everything is moving into Wisconsin. Tornado Watch now in effect until 11pm for parts of WI.
Anybody in Wisconsin watching??
Update 3:52pm Tornado warning in southern MN/northern IA now extended to 4:15pm and now includes Houston County. Heading for Dunn County in WI. Fillmore County warning has expired.
Update 3:49pm Strong thunderstorms developing in Washington county. No circulation reported but heavy rain and possible hail.
Update 3:46pm Multiple funnel clouds reported north of Lindstrom moving north. No additional reports of touchdowns yet-storm is moving into Wisconsin.
Update 3:35pm Chisago County tornado warning extended to 4:15pm and also expanded to include Polk County in Wisconsin. Strong rotation but no funnel clouds associated with the storm at this point. Heavy rain causing flash floods in various cities.
Update 3:27pm Things must be calming down-they're reviewing safety rules and showing damage pictures on tv.
Update 3:22pm Tornado spotted 5 miles south of Harmony, MN. This is in the area on the Iowa/Minnesota border, Fillmore county.
No updates for Wisconsin yet-
Update 3:19pm Tornado has been spotted at the convergence of 35E and 35W-heading for Forest Lake @35mph.
The tornado warning ending at 3:15 has been allowed to expire. That's northern Anoka and (I believe) Southern Washington counties.
3:12pm New Warning-Chisago County until 3:45pm
Forest Lake, Center City, Chisago City, etc
NEW WARNING: SE St Croix County in Wisconsin. Funnel cloud spotted near Maiden Rock, moving @ 35 mph.
A tornado has been spotted just west and north of DT Minneapolis-the warning area has just been expanded up to Forest Lake.
Radar indicates a hook echo and traffic cameras have recorded a funnel cloud in the area around hwy 100 and 694-Brooklyn part/center area.
If you are in this area take shelter.
Sirens going off now in the city.

ETA: Potential circulation indicated on radar in the Red Wing area-this isn't in the current tornado warning but it is in the tornado watch area.

Confirmed damage in north metro Minneapolis, around 29th and Logan. Storm is heading NE-towards Spring Lake Park and Columbia Heights.

More damage reports-Brookdale Mall, plus 57th and Emerson. No injury reports.
Funnel cloud reported just south of Lake Como in St Paul.

Most of Minneapolis out of warning now-the northern part of Minneapolis is still in a warning situation.
New warning issued-Fillmore county and northern Iowa-right on the border.

Current tornado warning headed for Forest Lake/Chisago City at @ 30 mph.
