You may have already seen Mark Fiore's animated work at its home base at SFGate.com.
You may have heard about him when this piece elicited howls of protests from the teabaggers while Bill O'Reilly blew a fuse.
You may have heard about Fiore when some pigheaded person at Apple
declined his iPhone app because it "ridicule(d) public figures" (and it does!). Apple later reversed its decision.
And you may have heard about Fiore when he became the first animated and online-only cartoonist to win the Pulitzer Prize.
So if you are familiar with his work, then great news! His work will now be appearing Thursdays on Daily Kos, part of the continued expansion of the site's Comics section.

Fiore probably makes more headlines than any other political cartoonist, and is a true innovator and pioneer in a medium that has seen a great deal of difficulties as newspapers die off. He's proven that there can be life after print, and has pushed his medium forward like no one else. And he's funny.
Fiore is a superstar.
Daily Kos Comics now features Tom Tomorrow's This Modern World on Mondays, Jen Sorensen's Slowpoke on Wednesdays, Mark Fiore on Thursday, Matt Bors on Fridays, and Eric Lewis' Animal Nuz on Saturday.
I've long dreamed of bringing my favorite political cartoonists to Daily Kos, and we're making great progress on those dreams. We've got five days of the week covered, and even feature a Pulitzer winner. We've had some setbacks, but we're still not done building the coolest political cartoon section online.
One final note -- as I read those names, Fiore, Bors, Sorensen, Tomorrow, Lewis, I'm filled with gratitude that I'm a liberal. Because if I was a conservative, I'd have to pretend that Mallard Filmore was funny.
