This week, we have initiated a new writing exercise for this series: Five Words.
So far, we have had a few entries, but the entry deadline is not until noon EDT on Thursday. Here's a link to the original diary. Check the comments out to see what's been written so far.
Below the fold for a quick explanation of the rule(s), and the "reward" for the "winner" of this week's exercise.
OK, here's the deal:
You can write in any form to any length. The only requirement is that, within the body of what you write, you use the five words selected. This week, these are the required words:
Butterfly
Door
Typewriter
Illuminate
Seldom
Please bold the words in your offering.
So, what's the vig? Just this: In next week's diary, your entry will be highlighted. And then you will get to choose the theme for our alternating exercise, 100 Words, and will select your favorite 100 Words entry.
This week, the words were selected by Jaxpagan, who will judge the Five Word entries.
Have fun writing!
