Just an hour after the House of Representatives voted 123-295 to reject a resolution that would authorize continued military operations in Libya, it turned down a resolution that would bar funding for such operations 180-238. The Democratic tally was 36 Democrats opposed to funding, with 149 in favor.
Although 89 Republicans voted against the resolution, many did so on the grounds that it allowed NATO to continue spending on the mission.
