I missed the meetup tonight. I felt bad about it, but then again, feeling like you're about ready to toss your breakfast may accurately reflect how you feel about this nation's politics, but its not conducive for hanging around in a smoky bar and discussing politics. As much as I like to do that (and yeah, I like to get my outrage on as much as the next guy), I stayed home and chicken souped it instead. As I was kicking myself for the inappropriate timing of my intestinal irascibility, I had cause to sit back and think a bit. There's been lots of pie and purity trolling and general crankiness amongst many of us and I just wanted to post this simple reminder of a diary. Not as an accusation, or as some sort of soapbox diatribe attempting to measure who is the most progressive or any of that other crap. I just wanted to post this reminder that Liberal, is not a dirty word and we should all be more willing to embrace it and promote it, so after the jump.....
