Global Warming Denial has been added to the Thou Shalt Not List:

Deut. 5:12b: Honor thy beautiful and fragile planet, that drought unending and famine afflicting thine cows and thine horses and then thine wife and children and all that thou canst see shall not afflict you.

Otherwise drought kills everything. texans pay $90-a-bale for $8 hay and hay for January/February is nonexistent.

Tropical Storm Lee is set to miss all but a sliver of Texas.

Breaking: Tropical Storm Lee will drop no more than 1/2" of its life-serving waters to the west of Louisiana.

The huckster known as Slick Rick was seeking punishments ??? Perry didn't budget a dime to prepare for drought.

"Tell me what you do and I'll tell you what you believe" -- yes, indeed.

East Texas will get next to nothing. From NOAA:

The estimated minimum central pressure based on reports from nearby oil rigs and an air force reserve reconnaissance aircraft is 1005 mb, 29.68 inches.

The depression is expected to produce total rain accumulations of 10 to 15 inches over southern Louisiana, southern Mississippi, and southern Alabama through Sunday, with possible isolated maximum amounts of 20 inches. These rains are expected to cause extensive flooding.

A storm surge will raise water levels by as much as 2 to 4 feet above ground level along the northern gulf coast in areas of onshore flow. Tropical storm conditions are expected to first reach the coast within the warning area this evening, making outside preparations difficult or dangerous.

But not Texas. Only a weak tail is expected and that will not moisten any part of central or nothern Texas. The drought continues unabated.

Repent Sinners !!

Bad enough, some Texans think that Jesus was Thor. That some of their crucifixes have the Son armed with AK-47s and grenades. That they think armadillos were provided to give full-autos appropriate targets.

Deny Global Warming -- oh ye State of Men -- and the Lord Almighty shall smite ye with a bitter taste of Hell !!

And we're hanging around on this here corner... waiting to see what He does with Slick Rick....

UPDATE ::: Tropical Storm LEE is now projected to dump 20 inches of water. That would end the drought in Texas, but only a sliver at the Louisiana border will get significant rain.

Global Warming Denial -- nasty challenge to the Almighty !

Texas is in the worst drought ever, maybe going back 5,000 years.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
