For the past 30 years or so I have been watching and commenting to colleagues and family about the middle class slipping away along with all of the manufacturing jobs. "We are going to be the new third world country on the block if this keeps up", I would say half jokingly but with a real concern of it actually happening. Well I was partially right our middle class is disappearing along with our rights. ( Frankly I didn't see that one coming).
In what has been a brilliant campaign to move the money and the power into the hands of a few, the Republicans are on the verge of complete victory and we cannot let that happen. One thing to be said for them they are patient. Waging a 30 plus year campaign to achieve their goals and now with the end in sight they are salivating at the table to take it all. That is where their strength is in patience.
Our weakness is in expedience. We want everything done immediately. When Obama did not get us everything we wanted in the first 2 years many of us turned on him and the dems. WE SHOWED THEM. Consequently since 2010 we have been engaged in a tug of war with an equal or stronger opponent leading to stalemate or death by 1000 cuts.
Well the good news is our strength is in our numbers. There are more of us than them and we need to stay focused and strong. What we need to do is start making a lot of noise about the voter suppression campaign. Thats where they will beat us taking away our right to vote and them going after all of our other rights. Make no mistake here their goal is to create a one class society... them and everyone else. If we don't stop the republicans from keeping control of Congress most importantly, the Supreme Court and all of to Federal Courts secondly and finally the White House then we are doomed and stand to lose

What you can gain is the right to serve and die for your country in a non ending state of warfare because the military is the only thing they want to fund.
So my dear brothers and sisters keep focused and keep together no matter how hard it is because the alternative is to hard to bear. Also, when do we start hitting the streets and marching on Washington? I wish so people who know how to organize on a grand scale get some things going soon.
