Gov. Janet Napolitano is President-elect Barack Obama's choice to lead the Department of Homeland Security, multiple news agencies reported late Wednesday.
If appointed, the Democrat in her second term would head the sprawling federal agency, which is responsible for immigration policy and border security as well as emergency response issues."
I remember thinking the day the pick was made that we were screwed and boy were we royally. Janet was never one of my favorites but she was the last line of defense against the crazy Republicans that now have taken over and wrecked our health care system, passed 1070,pushed private prisons...well you live here the list goes on and on. I just wonder what they were thinking at the time. She should have never taken the job.
