While, I'm not the first to have thought of it, the current Governor of Texas needs--badly--a nickname that distills his candidacy to its essence.
The proposal is short and sweet--in fact, it's only two characters--and it's one that math geeks can appreciate:
His proposed nickname? W²
Perry is just like W, but squared.
For those who wish to use this sobriquet in their own posts, but don't have an existing example to copy and paste from, there are several ways to write the superscript 2 in HTML: One is to use the HTML entity ²; like the example above; the other is to use the markup, i.e. 2. The former is easier to type; the latter lets you put anything you want in the superscript. If, for example, you consider 2 to be an insufficient exponent, you could choose instead to call him W2000000--though in my view, excessive hyperbole tends to get you dismissed (much as the opinion of anyone who calls President Obama a "communist" can be safely disregarded).
