Oh, boohoohoohoohoo!
Please forgive me if I giggle hysterically.
And please counsel me on my desire to bestow a Medal of Honor on young Kweku Adoboli, who now has a place, a bit under dispute granted, in Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/...
According to Wikipedia, Mr Adoboli was born in Ghana on September 15, 1980, somewhat around about the time that it is rumored that George Herbert Walker Bush, using his secret CIA connections and others not yet revealed, to consult with various Iranian official in clandestine splendor in Paris to urge Iran to hang onto the hostages in order to ensure the 1980 election of Ronald Wilson Reagan, one of those "October Surprise" thingies that Republicans love to engineer.
Check out the "October Surprise" Archive at Consortium:

The election of Ronald Reagan caused a number of unfortunate events:
Destruction of U.S. labor unions
Deregulation of banking industry
Deregulation of corporations
Creation of the Bush Dynasty
The right wing high-jacking of the Clinton administration, during whose tenure the passage occurred of Phil & Wendy Gramm's Gramm–Leach–Bliley Act (GLB), also known as the Financial Services Modernization Act of 1999, and the Commodity Futures Modernization Act (2000), which acts set the stage for the Enron damage during the Bush II administration and the 2008 financial meltdown and the massive Bank Bailout engineered by George W. Bush and Hank Paulson.
The list of the Reagan/Bush/Clinton/Bush evils could go on and on and on but we must not forget young Kwedu Adoboli of Ghana who was growing up and observing what was going on in the world, and forming his moral compass from what he observed.
Young Adoboli was no fool. He knew where the money was and he winkled his way out of Ghana to England, where he joined UBS (United Bank of Switzerland), to become a director of the bank's Global Synthetic Equities Trading team.
Synthetic equities. Hmmm. You must also remember that our friend, former Texas Republican Senator Phil Gramm:
As of 2009, Gramm is employed by UBS AG as a Vice Chairman of the Investment Bank division. UBS.com states that a Vice Chairman of a UBS division is "...appointed to support the business in their relationships with key clients." He joined UBS in 2002 immediately after retiring from the Senate.

Well, the reason why UBS banksters might not get their precious little bonuses is because young Adoboli has pulled off a little $2 billion scam in the UBS Global Synthetic Equities Trading section:
A 31-year-old trader, allegedly responsible for a $2bn loss at UBS, has been remanded in custody after being charged with fraud by abuse of position and two counts of false accounting.
Kweku Adoboli, who was arrested in the early hours of Thursday morning, wiped away tears as he appeared on Friday in the dock at the City of London magistrates’ court. Wearing an open-necked white shirt and a blue sweater, he spoke only to confirm his name, age and address.

Phil Gramm might not get his 2011 bonus.
By God! Adoboli deserves a medal. He's a genuine God-damned hero, a black African swindling a bunch of wealthy white European males after centuries of wealthy white European males raping and pillaging the hell out of Africa.
