The democrat Debbie Wasserman Schultz of Florida, the chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, said the district’s large concentration of Orthodox Jews made it unusual and meant the race had few national ramifications.
Therefore don’t ignore this fact that there are some Jewish people in the Jewish community concerned about Obama’s policy on Israel. So Obama must figure out something to satify both parties in Israel.
You can always bring back all these people to support Obama, But he has to work on it.
With 92 percent of the precincts counted, Mr. Turner was leading Mr. Weprin by 53 percent to 47 percent, according to The Associated Press.
