When it comes to discussions on #OccupyWallStreet - I hear a lot of people asking "what do we do?" or "what's the plan?" and "what's the solution?" and "what should be our one demand?"

The fact that there is even this kind of dialogue going on at all is a quantum leap forward from where we were last month at this time. As many have pointed out, this process is a marathon and not a sprint.
More importantly, I feel very strongly that until one understands fully what the problem is, all urgency to stampede towards this golden "solution" is a bit premature.
So Susan Sarandon took a limousine down to the demonstration and said we need "campaign finance reform". She showed up. I don't fault her. But her comments only address a symptom - the problem goes much deeper and deep down we all know it.
The challenge that faces every one of us is to look deep, deep beneath the surface, into your own psyche, into your own heart and find out where the transformation needs to take place. It begins with you. Revolution is an inside job.
