As reported here yesterday, there's a new poll out, showing an uptick of support for the Health Care Reform Bill:
AP/GfK poll: Support for expanding health reform stronger than for repeal
by Joan McCarter -- Jan 17, 2011
Yet the GOP is still planning on trying to "Repeal the Bill" -- despite weakening support for their counter-productive "principled" stand.
If you look behind the numbers, and ask specifically about Repealing, or Changing the HCR Bill passed last year, it turns out,
Only 26% of Americans actually support the GOP's effort to Repeal the Bill. (Hmmm, I wonder who they might be?)

Here are the same Poll results with the annotations that the GOP Leaders, ought to really be worried about. That green bubble -- those are the People who wants to Leave it alone, OR make it EVEN Stronger!
That IS of what 62% of Americans, are saying.

Hey Boehner, you love to say that the American People have spoken!
-- it looks like to me,
that the American people, are STILL yet Speaking, on the topic of Health Care Reform.
And 'Repeal the Bill', is NOT what most of them are saying. (only 26% agree with the repeal effort.)
GOP wants repeal, but fervor slips in poll
By The Associated Press and The Washington Post

While the nation is divided over Obama's signature legislative achievement, which would expand coverage to more than 30 million uninsured and would require that most people carry insurance, the strength and intensity of opposition appear diminished. Strong opposition now stands at 30 percent, close to the lowest level registered in AP-GfK surveys dating to September 2009.
The poll finds that 40 percent of those surveyed said they support the law, while 41 percent oppose it. Opposition was 47 percent and support 38 percent just after the November elections.
As for repeal, only about one in every four [ 25% ] say they want to do away with the law completely. Even among Republicans, support for repeal has dropped sharply, from 61 percent in November to 49 percent now.
Sometimes you have to look behind the numbers:
43% of the public wants the HCR to be STRONGER.
19% of the public wants the HCR to stay as it is.
43% + 19% = 62% of Americans say Leave it alone, or make it Stronger, now.

Sometimes the more things change,
the more they really don't:
In the world of Health Care Practitioners, over a year ago:
Only 27% of Doctors favored a system of Private Health Care only.
and a combined 73% of the Physicians wanted SOME FORM of the Public Option!
3 out of 4 Doctors agree. They would recommend the Public Option to their Patients, that need Health Care!
YES the People have spoken, then. And their Doctors too!
and the People are speaking now;
and the People want Health Care Reform, that actually will make Health Care more affordable, for ALL.
The next question is -- Why the GOP Congress is NOT listening?
that answer, must have something to do with pure politics -- something that they are SO inept at.
