Both Chris Christie and Kim Guadagno refused to cut their vacations short to help New Jersey citizens through this difficult time. Chris Christie went to Florida to escape any responsibility.
Christie's Lieutenant Governor Guadagno also left the state, this time out of the country, to Mexico.
For their heartless actions, the New Jersey government should consider impeaching both Christie AND Guadagno for abandoning their jobs in a dire time of need, much like Bush and Cheney did during their time in office. They are both un-American greedy scumbags! Thank goodness the Democrats in office actually did their jobs to help their citizens, not cut-and-run like them two did.
Paul Mulshine's The Star-Ledger called his insane and idiotic antics out, such as hightailing his cowardly hiney out to Florida:
Instead, he attacked the other elected officials who stayed and tried to do the job he should have been doing.
He praised the state's efforts in his absence and placed blame on some of the locals for screwing up.
He should have been in Jersey, driving the roads I've been driving since the blizzard began - right after he flew over the blizzard to get to the sunny south.
There's even more outrage about Christie and Guadagno.
Andrew Breitbart's /crony blogger Dana Loesch defended the Corrupt Christie's actions:
No, “NJ” didn’t call out the National Guard. Chris Christie called out the National Guard because that’s the job of the governor. Of course, I don’t expect a “senior fellow” who so zealously attempts debate on the matter to actually know what he’s talking about if he comes from Media Matters. Soros pays him to be persistent, not knowledgeable, folks.
Media Matters of course loyally defended Blanco even though Blanco and Nagin’s (and Brown’s) ineffectiveness made this national disaster a catastrophe. I would say “and now MMFA assails Christie for that which they defended Blanco,” except doing so compares Chris Christie’s performance and Blanco’s performance which is illogical because they are not equal. Christie is employing all his state’s resources and didn’t have to be prodded by the President (curiously, MMFA doesn’t assail Obama for being out of town when the massive blizzard hit) to call out the National Guard.
I had a rebuttal for Dana's outright lies, from DanaBusted.com:
Looks like one of Andrew Breitbart's cronies-in-chief at Big Journalism is making up distortions about how the "unions in NYC did worse than Christie with the snow removal" garbage. Her name is #7 on my 2010 Worst Persons list, and it is St. Louis's own lie peddler Dana Loesch.
Boehlert was right on the money with debunking Loesch's nonsense.
New Jersey State Senate President Stephen Sweeney (D), the temporary acting governor, stayed in the state to help preside over the blizzard chaos, lambasted Christie and Guadagno for leaving their duties
TRENTON — A Democratic lawmaker is questioning why both Gov. Chris Christie and Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno are out of state at the same time, leaving Senate President Stephen Sweeney (D-Gloucester) as the state's acting governor during a blizzard that paralyzed the state.
"We clearly made a mistake if we created the office lieutenant governor and wasted money if the lieutenant governor is not going to be here when the governor is out of state," said state Sen. Raymond Lesniak (D-Union). "It's being handled very well by Sen. Sweeney, but you have to really question the purpose of the office."
Christie in on vacation with his family at Disney World in Florida, while Guadagno is with her family in Mexico, Christie spokesman Michael Drewniak said. Sunday, hours after taking the oath to become acting governor, Sweeney declared a state of emergency.
"Thirty-one inches of snow. Hundreds of serious incidents, roads closed down, states of emergency. This is not an insignificant incident. This is serious," he said. "I think it points to a real revaluation of at least the way this office is being handled in the future."
Cory Booker, an unsung hero, is doing ACTUAL hands-on help during the midst of the crisis.
he's digging out medical transport vans
... he's making sure the streets around hospitals get cleared:
This is what REAL heroes and leaders do. Help the people in a time of crisis, not duck and hide in Florida.
It's time to impeach these two incorrigible incompetent looney tunes out of office, especially Christie, who infamously yelled at a hard-working teacher.
He is responsible for the failure of the Tunnel project, shouted at a teacher, and now this. Possible grounds for a recall?
