For those who didn't get enough of Ralph Nader last week, here he is again on the FOX Libertarian show FreedomWatch:
I understand many here do not like Mr. Nader anymore, since his 2000 debacle, and much less Tea-Party hero Ron Paul, but Nader does have a point about the following issues where Progressives or Liberals can agree with Libertarians or the Tea Party:
- Ending the bloated wasteful military budget
- Ending the undeclared wars overseas
- Ending Cooperate Welfare
- Ending the FED
- Ending the Patriot Act
- Restoring our Civil Liberties
- Ending NAFTA and the WTA
So, once again I ask, can a presidential candidate for 2012 possibly emerge to get both the Progressive and Libertarian vote, if he or she would put the above aforementioned issues to the forefront of their campaign.
Both Ralph Nader and Ron Paul seem to believe it could happen.
