Georgia10's post about
"Frist: The Howard Dean of the GOP?" observed that the senator looked awkward with his iPod. I thought it looked more than awkward - it looked fake.
So I downloaded a couple of photos I found at Frist's VolPac and compared them. The results leave little doubt as to their authenticity.

On the
"Acts Of Deception" scale, this certainly doesn't rank with
Reasons to Bomb Iraq, or
Warrantless Wiretapping, but it does demonstrate the pathetic grasping for credibility to which Frist will stoop. This is just an obvious attempt to hang with the cool kids. But he had to resort to fakery in order to do it.

It's clearly the same picture, but in the first, the iPod is in his lap as he reads the newspaper. In the second, he is holding the iPod and looking at it.
Do these guys ever do anything honestly?
