GAMBLING: Mr. Mayor, let’s talk about Zuccoti Park and the protesters. How do you end that thing?
BLOOMBERG: The protesters are protesting against people who make $40-50,000 a year and are struggling to make ends meet. That’s the bottom line. Those are the people that work on Wall Street or on the finance sector. [...] People in this day and age need support for their employers. We need the banks, if the banks don’t go out and make loans we will not come out of our economy problems, we will not have jobs. And so anything we can do to responsibly help the banks do that, encourage them to do that is what we need. I think we spend much too much time worrying about how we got into problems as to how we go forward. [...] Also we always tend to blame the wrong people. We blame the banks. They were part of it, but so were Freddie Mac and Frannie Mae and Congress.

Also we always tend to blame the wrong people.
Namely, billionaires like me
We blame the banks.
Who are obviously innocent
They were part of it, but so were Freddie Mac and Frannie Mae and Congress.
LEAVE THE BANKS ALOOOOOONE!!!!!!
Dear Billionaire Bloomberg, fuck you.
We aren't protesting the traders and errand runners making $40k a year, we are protesting YOU, Mayor Bloomberg, and your billionaire buddies who mock us while they sip champagne. We are protesting the wealthiest 1% and their greed, the media and their lies, and the politicians who took your bribes. Nothing could be more dishonest than to say otherwise.
And as for those struggling banks, those corporate persons just trying to make ends meet, well cry me a fucking river for the banks. If they spent less on CEO salaries and lobbyists maybe they could make ends meet, but if they don't I'm sure they will cry for more bailouts and continue obstructing reforms.
So on behalf of everyone here at #OccupyWallStreet, fuck you, Mayor Bloomberg, and the banksters you rode in on/with.
If you'd like to help out the protests directly . . .
1. Get this message out there. Get the word out about these protests of Wall Street's greed to everyone you know. Raise awareness, even if it is via word of mouth, every little bit helps.
2. Use the twitter hashtags #OccupyWallStreet and follow on facebook and twitter accounts related to the ongoing protests. Help put this video on your facebook pageand any other social media that you use. Make it viral.
3. Make a donation to WeAreTheOther99%'s media fund. They need funding to stay active, and without huge corporate interests backing us up like the Teabaggers have, the only way this works is with your small donations.
4. Go to OccupyWallSt.org and make a donation to our General Fund to support the ongoing protests.
5. To send care packages to Liberty Square, go to OccupyWallSt.org for more information.
6. Find out if there will be an #Occupation event in your neighborhood and participate and contribute there if you can't come to NYC.
7. Be a better person to your brothers and sisters around you.
