So, #occupywallstreet is not trending in America?
Well, if you have a Twitter account, sign in, and tweet every diary or blog post or positive news article (mostly foreihn news organizations, sadly) you read about the protests, whether in NY, Boston, Philadelphia, LA or elsewhere. Tweet the link to the story, diary blog post, etc. and add the hashtag #occupywallstreet, along with whatever other hashtags you think appropriate. Tweeting the diaries here at Daily Kos is easy since when you open a diary there is a "Tweet" button under the diary title, which makes it easy to Tweet. Just click on it, sign into your account (if you are not already signed in) and viola, the link is already provided for you. All you have to do is add the hashtag #occupywallstreet and send it on its way.
If you don't have a Twitter account, go here to sign up for one: Twitter.
In addition, if you have a Facebook account, post to your Wall links to every Occupy Wall Street story, blog post, news article or Kos diary you see, and ask others to do the same, and ask them also to tweet those stories, blog posts, diaries, etc.
And don't forget your email. I get tons of crappy, lying emails from conservatives. Well, guess what? Time for some truth in emailing. Send emails of these blog posts to everyone in your contacts list.
If you can't be at the protests, and you can't afford to make a contribution to OccupyWallStreet, you can spread the word. It isn't hard to do. We have the means to spread the news ourselves with little effort, but with a potential greater effect. So start now if you haven't been doing so already. It's easier than buying stuff from Amazon and it's free. So take advantage of this opportunity.
Thanks,
