Today marks day 14 of Occupy Chicago, the amorphous movement growing out of the discontent of the have-nots at a time when the haves are having an apparent fire sale of public assets at the expense of the taxpayer.
As the wonks, who we all know shall inherit the Earth, try an array of angles to "frame" the impacts of wealth disparity; working people and students (who stand to face insurmountable debt) have congregated in the financial districts of cities across the nation to say "enough is enough."
Many have criticized the protestors for not having unified goals or a message. However, using the current political framework, we will only find the same results.
Perhaps it's time to re-write the playbook.
