Dear Kossacks, I am introducing you to Matt Glazer, who yes is a Kossack but so much more than that.

He is our man on the street for Progress Texas.
He was on MSNBC
At 4:03 !!!!!

Talking about Rick Perry.....
Does Rick Perry have a race problem?
More after ....

Many folks who have attended the Netroots conventions will recognize Matt as below:

In the Orange lounge, trying to catch some zzzzzzs.
Matt used to write for Burnt Orange Report and presented many times at the Netroots on a variety of topics from redistricting to campaign software

Where the crazy comes from!

Here is Matt Glazer on video about "Where the crazy comes from."

Matt is the Executive Director of Progress Texas now and needs to pull together this new organization with support from Austin progressives and Texas Progressives.

Just like we are proud of Jesse LaGreca being on video nationwide, I am really proud of all the Burnt Orange team and but especially of Matt as he moves to create this new organization.
Please consider donating to Progress Texas so that Matt can go shopping.
He needs to get

My hope is we can get 15 more donors to give $35 - $50 urgently. If we can get this funding in, we can get one of the high powered computers we need for video editing, design and data management to help increase capacity for other groups and Progress Texas internally.

TexMex doesn't go fundraising for just anybody.  I gave $100.00 yesterday to Progress Texas, because Karl Rove has alot of cash, Perry has alot of cash!
I think that Progressives all over the United States can be helpful in pushing back on Perry and Rove by supporting Progress Texas.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
