Well, here I am in the People's Republic of Portland, Oregon, and our local anarchists aren't content with cheap marijuana and plentiful tattoo parlors. Oh no, now this kind of nonsense:
Occupy Portland sent police a notice of their intentions, according to bureau spokesman Sgt. Pete Simpson.
The message read "Currently there is no plan to obtain a permit since this movement has no leadership and further legal advice from the National Lawyers Guild advises against obtaining a permit. For best impact we will march in the streets and disrupt the city."
Did it enter into anyone's head that working people need to use the streets, in particular, the buses and trains that run on the streets to get to their jobs?
Did it occur to anyone that arrogant undisciplined shitbaggery will actually hurt the cause?
Let's face it, this is just some sort of effort to provoke trouble, and not a real movement, not in this city anyway. I won't be going and I urge all Kossacks in Oregon not to either. We are not anarchists.
