Standard disclaimer: Leave your loathing of meta, World of Warcraft, or community diaries outside. If you think we should be playing your MMO instead, start a guild and write a recruitment diary. Don't leave a comment here and then get all hurtful when it isn't received with flowers and candy. This goes double for people coming in to attack guildies over other diaries or comments - STAY OUT! Link to your recruitment diary is OK though.

More below the fold:
So, we're looking at the fallout from...well, I'll let Ninotchka tell it:
Welcome to the Azerothian front of #OccupyEverywhere!
We've had a lovely influx of new blood since last week, when one of the biggest Warcraft blogs out there, WoW Insider, ran a featured article on us. The comments on the article itself were the expected gamut from "keep your politics out of my fantasy world" to outright trolling. You would think from reading through the thread that we got four or five new people out of it.
You would be wrong.
Every day since the article I've been greeted by new names and new faces. And they've been uniformly intelligent, kind, and enthusiastic. It's wonderful, refreshing. Every day I expect it to stop, but then there's another application in the queue, asking us where we've been all their WoW life.
We've been right here, baby, and here we are going to stay.
In raiding news, Team Kaels continues to work on heroics. We had some very bad struggles with disconnects and internet outages and emergency room visits for the dog last week, so we didn't technically make any progress. But spritually, we've examined the fights and we know what we have to do to beat them. That's my story and I'm sticking with it.
Team Snuff went in on Tuesday with two new-to-the-guild tanks and flattened Shannox and Beth'tilac. The new energy that our friends are bringing to the guild looks like it's going to translate into a more stable Team Snuff roster and continued success. Well done, gang.
Prettydead has been talking about reviving the Team Casual raids, and getting good support and interest from many directions. If she builds it, they will come.
Okay, that feeling you have when every time you log in, more and more intelligent, capable people are in the guild saying hello to you? Welcome to me ever since I plunked down the silver for the guild charter.
Taymatt:
Addendum: I just did a quick count, and it looks like we have approved as of today 38 new members after the WoW Insider article. I should also note that several of the people checked us out after Markos tweeted about the article.
Also, Lunanescence reports on the lastest Wreck List kill:
"Saturday night I ran into this rare elite while I was out questing in Twilight Highlands. So I ask my husband, Earthdream to come out and kill him with me. Hahaha. After he toasted us, I looked him up and realized he was raid-worthy material with over 30 million health and some nasty abilities. You can Wowhead all about him if you like. So we asked in guild chat and we got a group of about 12-13 to go out and give him a try. Had a great mix of old and new players and it was really fun. We downed him after about 4 wipes, which to be honest, was above the curve for this guy. Great job WL for another game boss defeated!"
If you're interested in signing up for a raid team, go to Kaels' raid recruitment post on the guild forums. Oh, and sign up for the guild forums.
We don't have a Guild Vault report this week, as Mahuae is on vacation. Still, there's a Cataclysm gear tab, there is stuff in it, and someone needs to use the stuff. Hear me? USE ALL THE STUFF.
And that's what I have this week. For the Horde!
