Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) Calls the 99 Percent Movement ‘Mobs’
http://www.youtube.com/...
CANTOR: I for one am increasingly concerned about the growing mobs occupying Wall Street and the other cities across the country. And believe it or not, some in this town have actually condoned the pitting of Americans against Americans.
Just wait til they show up in Virgina, Cantor ... you might have to call out FEMA!
Seems Eric was singing a different tune, about Street Marches, just a few short years ago.

by David Weigel, washingtonindependent.com -- Sept 18, 2009
It’s hardly a surprise now when Republican leaders align themselves with the Tea Party movement, and the Values Voter Summit has been full of it.
[...]
Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va.) praised the protesters from the stage for “fighting on the fighting lines of what we know is a battle for our democracy.” After his speech, he told TWI that the protests represented an “awakening in America.”
“People are beginning to wake up and see a country they don’t really recognize,” said Cantor.
But wait! there's more Cantor double-talk ...

Whereas all 50 States were represented in the march;
Whereas this event is considered to be the largest ever gathering of fiscal conservatives in Washington, DC;
Whereas special accolades are due to the grassroots citizens organizations across the country who helped individuals exercise their constitutionally protected First Amendment rights in the Nation's capital; and

Resolved, That the House of Representatives expresses its gratitude and appreciation to the hundreds of thousands of people who marched on Washington, DC, on September 12, 2009, to show their love of liberty and their grievance with recent government actions.
Hmmm, so only Tea Party Republicans have a right to express their grievances, is that right Eric?
... only Tea Party Republicans can really love liberty, and demand the opportunity to reach that American Dream, is that what you're saying Mr. Cantor?
This GOP hypocrisy, was not lost on the White House today.
Protecting the 1 Percent While Attacking the Other 99 Percent

The White House today responded by calling out Cantor’s previous support for Tea Party protests, some of which behaved like actual mobs:
After Cantor’s remarks Friday, White House press spokesman Jay Carney said the Republican leader’s criticism of the Wall Street protests was “hypocrisy unbound,” when compared to his support of Tea Party protests. He said both were examples of American democratic traditions.
“I don’t understand why one man’s mob is another man’s democracy,” Carney said.
Wow.
IOW, Eric Cantor: "What's good for the Goose, is good for the Gander!"
and PS. it's starting to look like your Tea Party Goose -- is Cooked!
