Hi fellow Kossacks,
Even tho I'm a Chicago gal, I've had the pleasure of working for Portland progressive radio host Adam Klugman as he broadcasts each week sharing his own unique take on the weirdness of this world along with a very savvy call-in crowd.

Adam served as creative director for the 2009 "Mad as Hell Doctors" tour, a group of no-nonsense PNHP single payer docs who toured the country stirring it up for single payer.

Well Adam hit the streets Thursday for the kick-off of Occupy Portland and on today's show (3-6 p.m. PDT, 6-9 p.m. EDT), he'll be talking about his experiences, and welcoming our own Jesse LaGreca reporting live from New York!

Here's what the boss got an eyeful of Thursday.

Pretty cool, eh?
Everyone's been sticking a mic in Jesse's face asking questions (thanks Ollie!)--we all wanted to give him the opportunity to report on what's important to him.

Hey, now if that isn't enough, Adam will also be talking to Dr. Margaret Flowers.
You may remember her from disrupting our cuddly little favorite Sen. Max Baucus' finance hearing and being led out by Capitol police.
Dr. Flowers has been an integral part of the October 2011 D.C. action, and she'll be updating us on what's shaking our capital.

Still with me?
Cool, because myself and fellow producer (and Kossack!) Al Nowakowski will be live from Occupy Chicago.

So we're going coast-to-coast this afternoon/evening, covering what is, imho, the story of a generation, the story the msm hasn't quite wrapped their profit-driven eyes around, the story that has helped people like Jesse bring his voice to its rightful audience, the story of the fight for economic justice in our country.

You can find Adam and Mad as Hell in America here:  where you can also listen to today's show live from KPOJ Portland. (scroll down for the streaming widget)
You can call in during to join the conversation at (866) 452-0620
And you can follow on Facebook here:
Comedian and political stirrer-upper Lee Camp will also be joining Adam in the third hour!

Thanks for listening, be sure to listen later today!
(oh, and for those who wanted an update on my incorporated uterus, she's decided not to run, but will be holding six weeks of press conferences before she actually tells anyone)

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
