Vote for me or you're just a bunch of brainwashed racists! (Gage Skidmore)
This will definitely help Herman Cain with black voters:
GOP presidential hopeful Herman Cain said Tuesday that many liberal Democrats in the black community are "racist" for questioning his political ambitions as a black conservative Republican.
"A lot of these liberal, leftist folk in this country, that are black, they're more racist than the white people that they're claiming to be racist," Cain said Tuesday in a radio interview on the conservative Neal Boortz talk show.
Cain's really been on a roll with his outreach to black voters lately. He recently said African-Americans are victims of "brainwashing" who can't think for themselves. In his interview yesterday with Boortz, he also said that Barack Obama has "never been a part of the black experience in America." Clearly, the only reason black voters still overwhelmingly support the president is because they're a bunch of racists. Or not:
Boortz interrupted Cain, saying he prefers the word "bigoted" to "racist."
Oh, whoops. Right. They're not racists, according to racism expert Neal Boortz. They're "bigoted."
"Ok, bigoted," Cain said. "How dare Herman Cain, first, run as a Republican? How dare Herman Cain be conservative? And how dare he move up in the polls, so that he just might challenge our beloved Obama? That's the problem they have."
Memo to Cain: If you're looking to woo black voters away from the evil clutches of the Democratic Party, calling them a bunch of brainwashed racists bigots probably isn't the best way to do it.
