Posted below is a follow up to my call on the Thom Hartmann Show this morning. Please send me your top 5 issues; and Occupy your City Hall, Board of Supervisors, State Capitol, and Federal offices; until we get the needed results, government serving the people, not just the 1%, and ending all unconstitutional wars of choice! ...
Hi Thom, Louise, & Shawn,
Thanks for taking my call; and for continuing to keep a light on the most important issues facing our country and communities.
Instead of Occupy Wall Street, I have been using public comment time for the last 8 years to get local elected officials to uphold their oath of office to support and defend the Constitution, and pass resolutions to end unconstitutional war; such as those on citiesforpeace.org.
I told your call screener I wanted to also comment on how I was seriously assaulted by a Sheriff Deputy while I was giving public at the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors recently. (This happened as I was telling him I'm on disability for whiplash; having been rear ended twice in a year, and also hurt as I was raped and then re-assaulted by my ex-husband. He was not convicted for this, or his involvement in child porn and prostitution and drugs; even overdosing in front of our child, and witnesses to his possession of the drugs giving a legal declaration to the investigators.)
I also wanted to let you know about how I, as an ultra progressive, have been reaching out to the conservative sector of our community, and how they are engaging with us in many positive ways, including Occupy Santa Rosa. (Our Occupy event 2 weeks ago was the 6th largest in the country and largest in the US per capita.)
We are deliberately taking the things off the table that we may never agree on, such as gay marriage, pro choice; and focusing on what urgent issues we share in common, such as: strike-first wars of choice, forced vaccines, weather modification, unbalanced benefits for the 1%, etc.
Most of us know the majority of the Tea Party is AstroTurf, and real conservatives shun it. I would suggest we don't give attention to it, unless something egregious happens.
My US Senate campaign is founded on the listening tour; this is what I'm contributing to the Occupy USA movement - cohesion. Keeping it simple is a key to effectiveness, that's why I'm asking for everyone's top 5 issues they want all the sitting House and Senate members to take action on now, if they want to keep their seats; and have all candidates share specific plans of action on how they would deliver the needed results for the top 5 issues.
It's important we really take a look at the number one most important issue facing us, and start addressing that before we tackle the rest. I think the majority will agree, that it is ending the funding and policy of unconstitutional wars of choice, not necessity.
This top 5 list is intended to be centered on solutions; please see the attached flyer on this, and consider having me on as a guest, so we can move the movement to speak to the enablers, the elected officials, and get the needed results we are desperate for; and end the violence to everyone standing up for our free speech.
Once I have raised enough funds, the website will be designed to identify Californians' collective top 5 issues. I hope this will be an effective template for all states and force the current elected officials to start working for the people, not the multi-national corporations.

What are your top 5 issues for all sitting House & Senate Members, and 2012 Candidates?
What's working? Let's keep this going.
What's almost working? How can we fix it?
What's not working? De-fund and end this: budget, policy, program.
Let's pick one top issue, that gets focused on first.
(Such as: #1) Ending all unconstitutional wars of choice. Declare Victory, declare a cease fire; bring our fighting forces & contractors home.)
Then pick 4 more.
Unranked as: A, B, C, & D choices; or rank them in priority: 2, 3, 4 & 5.
Step ONE
Require your elected ones to now take action on these priorities.
STEP TWO
Tell the candidates you want to know how they will achieve these top 5 issues.
peaceoneday.org Tools for a cease fire internationally, and in your village every September 21st.
citiesforpeace.org Resolutions from cities, counties & states to bring our troops & tax dollars home.
