Former Obama administration official Jon Huntsman. (Yuri Gripas/Reuters)
I just couldn't help but notice this from
the new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll of Republican primary voters:
I'd say that Jon Huntsman is running a vanity campaign, but running a campaign where you can't even break into single digits is more about self-humiliation than vanity, isn't it?
Obviously Huntsman's problems are related to the fact that he is seen as a moderate. But maybe he also shouldn't spend all his time attack Mitt Romney for flip-flopping. Obviously, Romney is a flip-flopper ... but Jon Huntsman actually served in the Obama administration for two full years, and now he's running to replace his old boss. That's flip-floppy enough to make Mitt Romney look like the model of consistency.
