Yes, that's right, it's that time of year again: the Final Meetup of 2011 of the New York City Kossacks. This time, we're meeting in the scenic borough of Manhattan, and, and(!), there may be a surprise guest. Perhaps more. Info and tantalizing hints after the baroque thingie I'm still not entirely aesthetically at peace with.
If you've never been to one of our legendary soirées, you've probably heard the breathless descriptions; the rumors are true, they really are quite awesome. Usually, esteemed Kossack - Kossienne? - sidnora does these things, but, as she rightly notes, it's a bit too much work for one solitary soul – which is why you now have the pleasure of dealing with me. And, as noted, perhaps a surprise guest or two, whom I'm working my little tail off to procure.
There's a lot going on in the City of New York of late; Occupy Wall Street comes to mind, the first fitful start of holiday shopping, The Macy's Day Parade tomorrow, the Netroots New York conference*, what have you. So it really is time, perfectly placed between Thanksgiving and the end of the year, to see your friends from the Great Orange Satan, cheerful, opinionated bunch that we all are. Significant others are of course entirely welcome.
So here's the skinny:

Parking can be a bit scarce on the Lower East Side, but there's usually a spot on either Rivington, Stanton or Sara Roosevelt Park, and a rankly socialist municipal parking lot on Essex between Rivington and Delancey ($3 first hour, $1.75 after)
RSVP:
Not required, but it helps with the planning and the little 'Hi my name is...' badge things. Yeah, it's that kind of party. To do so, please send me a PM via KosMail.
*Full disclosure: I work for Netroots New York as Creative Director.
