What amazes me when a Republican gets on a rant about our out control national debt, they never bother to mention just WHO ran us those credit card charges.
It amazes me too that the Democratic party, rarely mentions this either. They are fine with the political fallout of having to pay off the GOP tab. "Were all in this together" right? Hmmm, can't remember hearing a GOP candidate saying that lately.
They usually say "you're on your own."

Hint: The blue portion is National Debt due to Dem policies; the red section of that chart, is the portion of our National Debt that has resulted from GOP policies, according to the CBO.
Dem "push back", starts here.
It's not like the GOP would ever try to "rewrite history" if you give them the chance -- that's just what they do. They can't help it. And without serious Fact Checks by the Media, or by the Blogs, what's to stop them?
History beware.

As shown in this chart, which we’ve produced from the most recent official figures from the Congressional Budget Office, the true figure was 36.1 cents of every dollar for fiscal year 2011, which just ended. And CBO projects that unless current law changes, that will drop to 27 cents in the current fiscal year, which began Oct. 1.

We’ve corrected Republican candidates on this point over and over, to little effect. Former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson claimed that “we’re borrowing 43 cents out of every dollar” in a debate on Sept. 22. Former Sen. Rick Santorum put the figure at 42 cents in a debate on Aug. 11. Rep. Michele Bachmann had it at 40 cents in a debate on Oct. 11.
Democratic "push back", should finish off here.
We ARE paying off that GOP Debt -- No Thanks to their stingy Tax Policies.
Of course, the GOP would rather rack up the Bills, than actually pay them off ... which is the height of irresponsibility, if the truth be told.
Or the facts be checked.
