The authoritarian mind set pf Newt Gingrich slipped out today in his interaction with a heckler. Newt thinks that free speech is lucky.
A man clad in camouflage gave Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich some unconstructive criticism on Tuesday. While shaking Gingrich’s hand at a grocery store in Iowa, the man told Gingrich he was “a fucking asshole.” The former House Speaker responded by saying, “luckily it is a free country.”
The thought bubble over Newt's head must have been filled with these unspoken words..
"but after I'm elected President..... the Capitol Police are going to be very very busy."

SCHIEFFER: One of the things you say is that if you don’t like what a court has done, that Congress should subpoena the judge and bring him before Congress and hold a Congressional hearing… how would you enforce that? Would you send the Capitol Police down to arrest him?
GINGRICH: Sure. If you had to. Or you’d instruct the Justice Department to send a U.S. Marshal.

The feisty authoritarian Newt Gingrich does not take kindly to being called an A Hole.
His words imply that under President Gingrich, speaking freely to power might not be so lucky.
We should listen closely to the words of presidential candidates for their authoritarian appetite.
Newt is letting us know that he is another wannabe dictator.
