Subject of this Diary? Beats me. Maybe it's about Congress? Sure, that's it.
RE: Letter
From: Op Ed
Here we go again. Gary, you are not going to run your campaign against LoBiondo through the Voice of the People.
And your letter provided an example of why that is our policy. LoBiondo did not just vote to raise the payroll tax. The House hasnt voted on it - that's what the whole dispute is about.

That was yesterday. (and point of fact, LoBiondo had just voted to raise the Payroll Tax) Just sent this new letter .... (no mention of Congressman LoBiondo, Republican)
A new year is upon us as we enter the fourth year of the Great Recession. Congress is on the job! They're killing us, they really are. Arguing about 2 month or 12 month extensions of the social security payroll tax reduction. It's on, it's off, on, off, on... What it is, is a no brainer, get it done and move on, idiots!
In this winter of our discontent we need solutions. Look outside Washington for change. I could be that bloody change..... (con't below the fold)

In this winter of our discontent we need solutions. Look outside Washington for change. I could be that bloody change. The candidate that never goes away, because in reality he's never been heard from, even though he's run for office 4 yrs in a row, making for vast frustration on his part, is back on the attack. This time I'm running for Congress- again. On my web site is a link and this quote "What's more, we'd create a huge income bracket of- middle income- high middle income- and the not quite rich -who'd see taxes fall precipitously, creating a tremendous incentive to be in that new doughnut hole of reduced taxes and upward mobility."
People I beseech you. Use the link. The words "Blue Jersey" are the link. See my plan to get us out of this mess we're mired in! Who knows, I might belong in the pantheon of great economic thinkers? Gailbrath, Adam Smith, (Gary Stein), Milton Friedman to name a few. Their pictures, side by side with my picture, are on the site. (HELP ME JESUS) One more year at this and I definitely crack up if I don't break out. So before I crack up, I'm asking you folks, read my economic plan. Go to the site. The site is "theessentialsteinforcongress2012.com" There's music too! Turn on your speakers.
12/21/2011 "letter to the editor" (below). It didn't quite measure up.
Who's side are the local politicians on for Pete's sake! As if I didn't need reminding, the other week it was the shameless Revel announcing it's outrageous "term limit" policy for new hires that got me thinking about all the elected officials who supported the casino's bail out. Now it's Frank LoBiondo in particular who has me scratching my head. He just voted to raise the Payroll Tax. The man who once was so proudly bi-partisan that he supported a woman's right to choose, cap and trade as well, and went on record against the Iraq Troop Surge in 2007, is now firmly in lock step with the fringe element of the Tea Party. I can not believe he's taken his marching orders and voted against continuing the payroll tax reduction, in effect voting an increase in everyone's taxes next year. Well, now he's in good standing with his buddies, but he'll have to spend heavily this election season to make sure everyone is properly confused as to his true colors.
