I found out recently that someone gave me a lifetime subscription to Daily Kos. My first reaction was "Me??"
Second reaction was gratitude, mixed with surprise. I have no idea who gave me this lifetime subscription, but I would like to say "Thank You!"
At times, however, I'm not very good with words... so I'm going to say it with photos, and video. I truly hope the person who gifted me in such a generous way finds something here to enjoy....
Thank you!
Also, an enormous hug to Ericlewis0, for putting my name into the mix. Love ya!

I'm a very lucky person. I have a wonderful family, good friends, and now, a very generous and anonymous benefactor.
I try to repay all that is given to me, as much as I can - many of the pictures you've seen here were taken on trips where I cleaned up trash from the neighborhood and the local lakes. It isn't much, granted - but it's what I can do.
The best name I've found for it is "Constructive Exercise" and it is, by far, the best exercise regimen I have ever found. I feel better, the neighborhood looks better, I get to see beautiful sunsets and wildlife - and it gives me a chance to pay back just a little of what I have received.
Huge thanks also to Cory Booker (Let's Move!) and Keith Olbermann, for reminding us all that we need to help each other more often. I'm inspired by both of them, and by my daughter, who truly defines "going the extra mile".
Thank you all!
A couple of pictures from my days as a "cleanup" batter... :)
Happy Holidays everyone!
