Rick Santorum
(Gage Skidmore/Wikicommons)
Christians For A Moral America has announced they are endorsing Rick Santorum for president. They're sorry to see Michele Bachmann leave the race, but still hoping nominee Santorum picks her to be his vice president. The endorsment reads:
CFAMA recognizes the importance of having a strong Christian candidate in the White House who will a) protect life b) protect family and c) protect marriage and we believe Rick Santorum is the man for the job.
If the name of the group is ringing a bell, it's because they made the news very recently. The Christian Post explains:
Radicals Condemned for Praying for George Michael to Die

Controversial group Christians For A Moral America (CFAMA) has taken to Twitter to condemn the British singer, suggesting he may have "AIDS" and is consequently "close to death." The Grammy winning artist, who came out as a homosexual in the 90's following a sex scandal involving another man in a public rest room, has had a very controversial past.

The group recently tweeted, "Pray for George Michael's demise. He has chosen a satanic lifestyle and must meet an appropriate end."

Another read, "Apparently George Michael has AIDS. Figures since he's a homosexual and it goes with the territory. Another sodomite bites the dust?"

The Christian group's holy mission didn't escape the notice of the pop star who is currently out of the hospital and feeling better. In a series of Tweets he explained the situation to his fans, adding a little droll British commentary:
George Michael Tweets
Given a sampling of what is found at Christians For A Moral America's website, I can't say I'm the least surprised they are big fans of Senator Frothy Mix.
It is also a common recruiting practice for homosexuals to indoctrinate children into the homosexual lifestyle. Many homosexuals sodomize each other in view of children and thus, the indoctrination process begins. Furthermore, this type of practice is ONLY observed among male homosexuals - the same group of perverts who constantly claim they're oppressed and "want equal rights" and that homosexuality is "normal". Because having sex in front of children is "normal".

Next time you're enjoying a picnic in your local park or using the restroom for its intended purpose, keep your eyes peeled for homosexuals who may just be around the corner sodomizing each other.

I'm sure these folks always have their eyes peeled, constantly investigating and searching relentlessly for homosexuals sodomizing each other. Much like our friend Porno Pete aka Peter LaBarbera, proprietor of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality website. Pete can always be found at gay events, tirelessly photographing and videotaping for his "research" into the debauchery he finds.

I wonder if Santorum has yet called and personally thanked CFAMA for this endorsement? I'd like to see Rick Santorum asked, "Is this your kind of Chrisitian? Are you prepared to use the presidency to spread this version of Christian love through the land?"

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
