Look at me everybody, look at me!!! Boy oh boy I really hate that Glenn Greenwald. Boy does he say terrible things about Obama. And we all know Barack Obama is the bestest, goodest president anytime anywhere (I mean when when you compare him to George W. Bush - and I don't want to hear anything about a low bar, or you're just like that evil Greenwald). That Greenwald - ooohhhhh he makes me so, so mad and angry and I just want to go blaaaahhhh (wait a minute that's Rick Santorum - well anyway, anybody who says low bar is just an old so and so.) Do you know what Greenwald did? Do you know what that man did? He said some of the things that Ron Paul was saying are important to put in our national discourse. Can you imagine? Can you imagine? Things like - things like - the drug war is racist and incredibly destructive. Glenn Greenwald says nobody else will say that. Well that may be true, but that doesn't mean a lot of people aren't thinking it. Barack Obama is one hundred percent thinking it.
And, and Glenn Greenwald says that Paul is the only presidential candidate talking about how the U.S. government shouldn't be able to engage in indefinite detention. Well that is important, but so what? Sure, sure, sure, the bestest Obama signed the NDAA bill with indefinite detention, which was kind of disappointing. And yeah, yeah I know that there's no way they wouldn't have taken out indefinite detention because the military contractors just haaavveee to get paid (they're really important people). But when Obama signed the NDAA he made an extra special promise he would never, ever use it. And so what if the next president will use it and say a democratic president signed it. So what you petty little people. Everybody knows full and well Obama doesn't want this to happen so no harm no foul. And why isn't Glenn Greenwald saying this, that Obama is actually playing a super-duper, double trickster game on civil liberties - he does one thing but thinks another. How do you like them apples Mr. Greenwald you fake something or other blogger.
And, and this whole thing about getting our troops home. The fact that Paul says this on a Republican stage. Nothing, nothing, nothing. Who actually got our troops home - well from Iraq, well not everybody, well after a while. Ron Paul hasn't gotten anybody home and he's a crazy, crazy so we shouldn't listen to him even though he is talking about something that would be, like, you know, really kind of good for this country.
And Glenn Greenwald seems say that he doesn't support Ron Paul but thinks some of his ideas are really important for people to think about, especially compared to our standard bearer Barack Obama. Like we're supposed to take that seriously! Pleeeaaassssee!! But you know what, you know what. It doesn't matter what Glenn Greenwald says. It only matters what Barack Obama says. It doesn't matter what Glenn Greenwald thinks. It only matters what I think. Some people's words are worth more than other people's words. So you see I can completely ignore what Glenn Greenwald says and I can then get really, really made about him not giving enough credit to what Obama says, and focuses on what he does - because, because, because.....ohhhhhh, that Glenn Greenwald makes me sooo mad.
So I'm starting a club because I want to keep really good discussion going on DKos. Anybody who talks about Glenn Greenwald, or Jane Hamsher, or Cenk Uyger, or anybody of those other nasty, mean Obama haters in a good way should be shut down immediately. Now I know this is sort of against free speech and allowing different ideas to exist simultaenously so we can have a democratic discussion, but its okay because I think a democratic discussion is a good, good thing, the best - uh, just not in this case you know. Like the whole Supreme Court thing with Bush and Gore. Which was really bad, but in this case is really good. And don't anybody dare mention low bars!!!!!
