Apparently Rep. Kristi Noem has decided she has to start showing up at something in her home state besides closed-door fundraisers...
Noem has been popping up here and there (east of the Missouri anyway) recently. It's always entertaining to see what she has to say when she makes such a rare appearance, for example, she's quoted in the Mitchell Republic (yes, the Mitchell with the palace of corn):
...it seems like if this [assistive technology] was reimbursable through Medicaid and Medicare, and it allows people to stay in their homes, it’s a win-win for many elderly, and could actually drive down the costs of Medicaid and Medicare.
This is from the woman that voted to replace Medicare with a voucher program.
Nobody had a follow up? Shocked, I say.
