- While the Navy is investigating the incident of four Marines urinating on dead bodies in Afghanistan, the Marine Corps is undergoing some officially reported "soul searching." Let me just say that anyone who has been through Parris Island and been blessed with an EGA, knows full well this action has brought dishonor upon those Marines, their chain of command, our beloved Corps, and the entire Marine Corps family. That would be the case if there were not any video of the incident.

- Mitt Romney now says he supports President Obama bailing out the auto industry:
“If he attacks me (for Bain Capital), I’ll point out that’s what he did,” Romney said. “He’ll say he did that to save the country That’s the same reason we cut back as well, was to save the company.”
Three things:
1. Obama actually saved the auto industry, rather than destroying companies as Romney did.
2. Romney opposed what Obama did, saying "Let Detroit go bankrupt." Now he's essentially saying he would have done the same thing.
3. McClatchy failed to point out #1 and #2 in their article, preferring stenography over reporting.
