Mitt Romney has been unemployed for 7 years or 28 consecutive quarters as they say down at the unemployment office. Mitt says he hasn't worked because he's been running for president. Ha, ha! that's a good one Mitt! At least it keeps his wife from nagging him about finding a real job.
Normal people don't spend nearly a decade being a full time presidential candidate. Mitt reminds me of the unemployed guy who says he can't work a job because he's too busy writing the great American novel.
Question: What do you call person who boasts about his accomplishments as businessman well over a decade ago, but hasn't held a job in 7 years? Answer: A failure. Why can't Mitt just come out and admit that he's a failure and learn how to ask for help? He'll never be able to hold a proper job if he keeps kidding himself about his imaginary candidacy for president of the United States.
Can't Mitt at least find some part time work in three years between elections? He could stock shelves at Staples...they'd probably hire him, even with the gaps in his job history. But Mitt prefers to be among the structurally employed of this nation... he's given up on a job search until somebody elects him president.
Mitt needs to go to a jobs fair and listen to a motivational speaker drone on for hour the color of his parachute. Maybe then Mitt would end his 7 year pretend campaign for president and embark upon a more realistic career path. Reinvent yourself Mitt! You seem to be an expert at doing that sort of thing.
I don't think this nation has ever elected an unemployed president, let alone a chronically unemployed one. Be wary if Mitt really does get elected president... he may just quit the job after 6 months to collect unemployment, so he can run for president in 2016.
