Hello my loyal and small following on the music front. Here is the second Musical Moondays Anthology out of a few more before I take my hiatus. As you know, besides being a punk rocker in my youth, I was also a rude boy even though I didn't go full mod dress or anything.
It's hard to say, but I think I have more ska in my collection technically. There will be a decent amount of American ska and even ska core, but it all originated from that Kingston town when it comes down to it. So this diary is an anthology of all the great music that has come from Jamaica and in initially inspired by Jamaica as anything ska related is whether one knows it or not. There was a lot of Red Stripe, ganja and dancing with the rude girls in my time when this scene was still hot in the 90s. I have a lot of memories from those days.
So enjoy them as you relive them through this diary.

Ska and its Evolution
It's hard to find enough strictly Rock-steady before Reggae so I don't have a diary based on that, though there are plenty of Rock-steady hits in my Reggae and old school ska diary. Dance-hall is the modern offshoot, but I'm not as into that as I am the older stuff and ska related stuff.
I hope you enjoyed these diaries and this anthology as a recap of all of them and all of this great music from Jamaica and inspired by Jamaica.
And as always, it's an open thread where you are free to post whatever you want.
