The buzz on puter sites like pcworld and cnet is about Anonymous - hacking the CIA, the FBI and other sites this weekend.
But the one targeting Alabama was the only hackattack singling out right wing legislation.
Anonymous takes down CIA site, exposes Ala. personal data
In Mobile, Ala., hackers got personal information for more than 46,000 people who were part of a court amnesty for overdue traffic tickets or other fines, city officials said. The hackers said the data included names, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, home addresses and phone numbers, license plates and criminal records.
Identifying themselves as "the Cabin," the group said the attack was in response to the state's "recent racist legislation in an attempt to punish immigrants as criminals."

Greetings Citizens of the State of Alabama;
We at the Cabin have been monitoring your recent racist legislation in an attempt to punish immigrants as criminals. The authorities in the state of Alabama are now able to question people suspected of being in the country illegally and hold them, and officials are able to check the immigration status of students in public schools. We will not idly stand by as this happens. You complain about immigrants costing the state money, however, you do not care about spending the same money to protect your own legal citizens. You say you have no money for immigrants but that's because you are cutting money from programs everywhere including those which reduce crime. You will be feeding those funds into the soon to be too big to scale prison system. Cutting spending only shifts the cost from preparedness and healthy economy to more crime and suffering. Cutting spending does not cut cost.
This also sets precedents and careless policies in motion which will eventually affect citizens who have had their identity stolen and personal history tampered with. With the NDAA and the Expatriation Act, these laws will harm cittizens who happen to have caused butthurt for someone in power. There isn't merely the potential of mistakes. There is in fact money to be made in the Prison Industrial Complex, Immigration Camps. This will create a hovering enforcement industry which will write laws restricting rights so they can make more money on getting people to hate each other. Not on our watch. We also warn that these kinds of laws are too politicized and natural born citizens living in your state will be harmed because they are of a different ethnic group. Remember the old saying, "The system will have you loving the oppressors and hating the oppressed."
